Abstract

|
Torticollis or spasmodic torticollis consists of involuntary contraction of the neck muscles, resulting in sustained deviations from the normal posture of the head, The disorder has a slow, insidious onset.
Althougli the balance maintained over so long a period of time, one must recognize that colse study of the syndrome has conspicuously failed to resolve the debate concerning the fundamental nature of spasmodic torrticollis.
The authors reviewed the etiological and therapeutic aspect of this rare condition.
